Wind controls are very useful They help to "bend the
rules of physics" where fountain height / pool ratio is concerned.
The digital anemometer includes 6ft of cable, (Extendable to
500ft.) It mounts on either a 1” conduit or as this picture
shows on a batten in free air. Relay outputs (via the A2 controller) are
2 Amp for switching small pumps or contactors.
How it works (single stage)
It is very simple in operation,
at a pre determined speed (user selectable) a set of contacts will
operate, this can be used to stop the pump
How
it works (duel stage)
If there
is either a variable speed pump or diverter valve fitted
the first stage can operate this, the second stage will stop the pump
running. Both parameters for when to operate are user selectable.
The
anemometer should be mounted in the vicinity of the fountain so that it
gets the same wind conditions. As wind speed reduces so the contacts
return to normal, so the fountain can continue to run as it was.
