Want a fountain?

You want a fountain? We can
point you in the right direction, but we need to know a few facts first.
What kind of fountain would you like? see or examples
animated,
musical or static?
A static fountain is a fountain that is neither musical or animated,
An animated fountain is one that changes its display and or lighting
over a preset time, a musical fountain is one that changes in time to
music.
How big would you like your fountain to be?
You can have a fountain as big as you like but it has to look right,
you wouldn't want to spend all your budget on say a 30 foot pool only to
find that your budget is only enough for a pond pump and simple
nozzle. It is
better to think of what you would like then consult us. Equally true is
you wouldn't want a small pool in a big area as it will be out of
perspective, from a small garden fountain to a big 30+ foot pool we can
help.
What is your budget?
You may think that a fountain is inexpensive since it is after all
only a pump and a pool filled with water. All though that is true, there
are different sizes of pump, nozzles lights and controls, In the U.K.
you are no longer allowed to use mains operated lights in a fountain, so
all of our lights are a safe 12volts, obviously the
more "components" you have the more the cost goes up. Please also note that if you want "Niagara falls" then you can
not do it using a water pistol.
If you think what we suggest is too expensive, to that we say
"you do get what you pay for"
Technical
The
physics of water and pumps are that as flow goes up linearly, head
pressure goes up by the square and horsepower by the cube. What
this means is that the cost of a system is closely related to the spray
heights involved, so basically the more complex your fountain the more
it will cost.
