Musical Fountains

What are musical fountains?
A musical fountain as its name suggests is a fountain that "operates
in time to music"
It does this by changing the height of the jets and the colours /
intensity of the lights. (Ideally a minimum of 3 colours of lights
should be used, but 5 colours are better) Each nozzle or set of
nozzles
has its own variable speed pump.
We achieve this by using our Access
software Once the music has been selected (and stored on the
computer) it is then a case of adjusting the lights and pumps according
to the music, so that in a lull you may have a few lights on at say 30%
where as in a musical high you may have all the lights on and some or
all pumps running at 100%. Once you have choreographed the fountain it
can play the same sequence over and over again, without the need for you
to alter anything, since it is all stored on computer.
Our access software is capable of making changes as fast as 1/10th of
a second. The choice of nozzles is up to you, the more pump / nozzle
combinations you have the more variety can be achieved, our very basic musical fountain kit has 3 foaming
nozzles (but you can opt to change these) and 5 coloured lights. This
can be added to at any time.
There
is no doubt that a musical fountain will attract a
lot of attention. A musical fountain has special requirements according
to what you want to achieve.
