You can also see that each nozzle has its own pump, except the spray ring which has several small pumps,

By using smaller speed variable pumps then smaller spray ring inlet pipes can be used AND being single phase they are very easy to electronically speed control. In general it is better to use single phase pumps as these are much easier to speed control which is what is required with a musical fountain.

The water is kept hygienically clean by the use of a copper / silver ion water purifier (Not shown)

These are the "industrial" DMX controlled dimmers that all the pumps and lights are wired to, these are then controlled by a computer running access software.
