When the fountain is running water is pumped through the nozzle and returns to the pool. The nozzle is lit by the light. In hot weather as water evaporates (or if water is blown from the pool) the level sensor will operate a valve (not shown) allowing more water into the pool. If it rains too much the excess water goes down the overflow to waste. We did not supply this particular fountain |
