High jet High jet, 5 + metres there are actually problems with this. 1) Has the pool a diameter to cope with a jet that high? (Please see the JW fountain rule which is here) 2) Is there a 3 phase electricity supply available? To reach a jet height of above 6m you will require a more powerful pump, these pumps require 3 phase electricity. Shown below are typical examples. The nozzle and pump used is the same in all pictures, but it is shown at different heights A komet nozzle was used as it requires less water (water demand) than most nozzles The wider the nozzle outlet the more pressure is required to achieve the same height. |
