Fountain cost

So, how much will this fountain cost?

Most commercial fountains you will see cost thousands, even for something that appears to be "basic" you may want to see our commercial fountain construction page to give you an idea of what is really in a commercial fountain.

The actual cost of each fountain depends on several factors,

The pool

 You can not have a fountain without some type of pool, be it a purpose made or preformed, It can be made from almost any material ie  from a plastic sump for a small water feature or fountain, right up to a giant fibreglass pool. Concrete can also be used, but it must be waterproofed. Cost will depend on size and labour

Nozzles

Nozzles are what gives each fountain jet its characteristics, the nozzles we supply are made from tombac (similar to brass) or stainless steel, this gives them durability, the bigger the nozzle the more it will cost, a fountain often has more than one nozzle, musical fountains can have as many as 50 nozzles (Depending on complexity of the fountain) Static fountains usually have only one nozzle

Lighting

Lighting brings a fountain to life at night, there are endless possibilities with lighting from plain white to multi coloured. There are also a variety of lights from small 20w lamps to multi lamps with seven 75 w  lamps. Also coloured lamps can be mounted in clusters, and by varying the intensity of different colours you can make a range of other colours. The most useful colours are Red Green and Blue.

Pumps

Pumps are the "driving force" behind any fountain. They are available in two categories. Surface mounted or submersible.

Surface mounted pumps are usually to be found in a hidden from view pump chamber and are very powerful. Submersible pumps although powerful have the advantage they can be mounted in the pool itself. By using speed variable submersible pumps you can have a variety of heights from one nozzle which is ideal for a musical fountain Submersible pumps are considerably cheaper than surface mounted pumps

Controls

Controls can take the form of a simple light sensor to turn the fountain lights on when it is dark to our sophisticated Access software for musical fountains (and lots of others in between)

What we supply

We will only supply the correct product for the required task. When ordering a nozzle you must be sure that it will connect to your pump and that the pump is powerful enough to operate the nozzle, we do supply nozzles and lights on their own

Musical / Animated fountains

If you want a musical or animated fountain we will supply the pumps, nozzles, lights and controls. Our EFN range of pumps are perfectly matched to our Access software, we will not supply Access software without our pumps, nozzles and lights as we know what our pumps can do, you may have existing pumps but not all pumps are speed variable with the range that ours are, also your existing pumps may not work with our Access software, so to avoid you having any problems we only supply Access software with equipment we know will work.

Summing up

We do not display prices on our website as we find that people will choose the cheapest product which may not be right for the task. If you find that a quote from us is beyond your budget we are sorry but we will not compromise on quality and reliability.
