 Fountain Construction

If you are going to build your fountain pool from concrete we have shown below the the anatomy of a basic fountain. Obviously it depends on location / size of pump, in that it could be sited in a pump chamber elsewhere along with the electrical switchgear and wind controls (optional) If there is to be a "feature" instead of a jet then we suggest that the pump is mounted to one side, so that the once the "feature" is in position it never need be moved again, but still allows for easy access to the pump for servicing. In big fountains a separate pump chamber should be considered.

We have left out lights although they too will be supplied via the electrical supply conduit.
