Colour changing fountain questions
1) Are these illuminated by lasers?
(I read they are)
Simple answer is no, they are illuminated by LED's (it
does say on the page)
2) Can I use these in my pond
We do not recommend the use of these in ponds, because
ponds have fish, plants and sometimes algae, these may block the
internal workings over time.
Also in order for the water stream to be lit the water must be crystal clear.
3) As they are lit by LED's are they not a bit
"dim"
No, these use several super bright LED's see the
pictures,
and you decide.
4) Are they
expensive?
These are very high quality, very easily installed fountains,
but they are considerably less than the stainless steel jets see our page
here, but for your money you will get
a very good fountain.
5)
Where do you suggest I install them?
Ideally they
should be installed in an existing fountain, or have a purpose made pool
6) Can I use these in / near a swimming pool?
(We have been asked)
No. The chlorine content of a swimming
pool will damage the unit, also you should NEVER look directly into the
water jet.
7)
Do they really change colour?
Yes they do change colour, by "mixing" the LED's these really do change
colour. see the pictures
8) Can i use them for a display at a trade show that is not
fountain related?
Yes, these would be ideal as an "attention grabber",
but we do not supply a suitable pool
9) Do you hire these fountains?
No, unfortunately we do not hire any fountains
10) Do you install these fountains?
These fountains really can be installed and working
in an existing suitable pool (with suitable electrical supply) within 30
minutes
11) Can they be installed on dry ground with only the pump in
water?
To make the water jump there are no valves (valves
are too slow) there is a "cutter" The cutter interrupts the flow of water,
so the water still has to emit from the unit, so they do need to be
mounted in a pool or tank.
12) If you have a question please feel free to
ask.
