Attaching a nozzle
Attaching a nozzle,
in most situations the nozzle is screwed into a
coupler, as shown in the pictures below.
The N pump in these
pictures has a one inch outlet, and most of the nozzles have a one inch
thread.
By doing it this way, it saves on pipework and time, it
also means the sump / pool can be shallower
If the nozzle is not water level dependant the water
level need only be deep enough to cover the pump, typically 24-26cm in
depth
If using a level dependant nozzle the water depth should
typically be 40-44cm in depth.
